And unlike a wire, is free for both parties if using personal Venmo accounts (that are tied to your respective checking/savings accounts). There's really no "safety" on your end as once its sent, it's sent, but the guy receiving the money will get a notification within a few seconds and is pretty much guaranteed to receive the funds. | |
