If you could only count the number of people he has helped.

People tell me I'm a large guy, ( I say I'm normal and tell everyone else they're small, lol)

I've always fought weight issues. Cutting calories ->weight gain. Exercise -> weight gain. A good friend about 10 years senior and a good bit heavier than i told me " It's in your genes, your body thinks food is short and will conserve everything to survive. I wish I never went on a diet.... I know I would be a 100 pounds lighter. Every diet packed on another 30 pounds."

So with jb conversations and listening to the speakers, I thought what the hell. I've lost 100 pounds with minimal effort, (no effort really) I just cut carbs. Ate as much meat cheese and eggs as I wanted. Salami and cheese sticks became a meal. I then began skipping meals maybe two with only a handful of Salami or almonds. I have never experienced that in my life, my body was screaming thank you through no stiff joints, no foot pain, and energy i hadn't felt in years.
I had a bells palsy episode and they kept me over night because they're was no way a 50 year old 320 pound man can have numbers where I do.

A long way to say thank you John and others who have paved the way leading those of us with the wrong genes does the path of healthier lifestyle.

P.S. A few weeks ago I ran into the fellow i quoted above, whom I haven't seen in 10 years, and he had lost 200 pounds. I would never recognized him without hearing his voice. His weight loss was from switching to a near zero carb diet.
