| There are a lot of things you could do with a microcontroller once you have learned how to use them. I don't have any livestock right now. When I had Pigs, I had thought of a project similar to Tedbear's totaller. Our grinder mixer does not have scales on it. I thought it would be handy to put an Arduino on one of our gravity wagons, then putting a load cell under each corner of the gravity box. Then when making feed, I thought I could add the appropriate amounts of soybean meal, corn and supplement. Then I just dumped the gravity wagon into the grinder mixer and have my batch of feed all blended correctly. | |
