Iowa | Yep, that’s what I came up with when I looked at a historical numbers - since 1920 if you looked 40 years after purchase price, that was yearly rental price. What changed?? I would take a stab and say the fed with their 2% yearly inflation goal. So does the next century look like 1900-2000, or like 1800-1900. And that’s about all the data we have to go on. I’m 40, will I live to see 15k rental rates???? But 20 years ago $200 rent was probably equivalent to $500 today, so it’s increasing but not anywhere near the land value increase. | |
