Just add the A-B line as a shapefile to the "AB Lines" folder in the AgGPS folder. Then open the field you are trying to add it to and press "Swaths", then press the "Import" button and bring it in - you can then bring that particular AB line into any field you wish.
When you bring the entire field in again while missing lines, you are overwriting the original field with a less useful version.
