i believe schorsch is referring to maps taken while the crop is growing that differentiate good and bad spots of the fields and divide them into regions to be sampled and nutrients applied to those areas. no yield monitor needed.



Yes, I did sounderstand the original Post!?!?
The question was "mapping to find weak spots"?!?
Just to find them during baling is very difficult.
If you like to do this you need to mount a PTO power sensor. But than you have to drive allways the very exact speed during baling so you get rughly good datas how much power the baler did need in which area of the field.... Out of this data it is able to create a application map.
