They were practicing stalls and it didn't restart. Pretty gentle landing. .
Stalls don’t involve the engine stopping, so there is no restart. It’s the wing that stalls, and if one wing stalls too soon before the other, the plane will spin. Some planes are better at recovering from a spin than others, and I’m guessing a Cirrus is on the list of planes that don’t recover very well.
I have a friend that has taken a parachute ride in his Cirrus, and while the landing is survivable, he would certainly with the use of the word gentle to describe it.
