it is likely as simple as you put it, there are components getting power out of the isobus. i wouldn't compicate it any further. if you need isobus power and dont have it then take of the isobus plug on the planter and supply it power via the traditional power cables. isobus is somewhat expensive to add to a tractor, and to only do it to use the power out of it doesn't make much sense to me.

last year i put delta force on a planter and we decided to try using the isobus plug for only power like your doing, it didn't work well and we are going to run a harness to the battery this year. don't over think it, just find power elsewhere. im guessing so far back from the iso plug is a power connection, take the iso cable off and sell it and it will probably pay for what you need to wire directly to the battery.

i have a few female iso plugs here i don't need much money for that a guy could install and only put power to but really at the end of the day eliminating the iso plug is probably your best bet.
