I would also say the drainage districts we are involved with have only enough money to pay for meetings, that's it./p>
All drainage districts that I know of are funded by assessments to the land owners that have water going to the district ditches. Sounds like it is time to pay more taxes to get them shaped up. If the board doesn't want to raise assessments, it is time for you to get on the board.
