Subject: Trimble SNM 940 auto power off

Netherlands
Hi i was using DCM300 modem, now swiched to SNM940, because of the easy install on the same cabling.

In the DCM300 you can set the auto-power off( based on ignition key power) to "not used", so the DCM300 stay always "ON".
In the SNM940/941 this setting is, as far as i know, not there, so i maybe have to add a wire with +12 Volt to the "ignition key" input on the SNM940.

Now in the settings there is a setting for "minutes to auto shutdown".
Will it be a solution to the mentioned problem when set to "0" ??

Thanks

Edit : setting timer to "0" does not work. So you have to put + power on the ignition wire.
