Chebanse, IL.....

You know, it often seems when you comment on something or another, there's someone suggesting that you have no business commenting if you don't get directly involved with the rule making. Following are but a few that affect our daily lives (here). I don't know there's enough hours in the day for you to help shape the world.

Comment on water.....get on the drainage dist. commission. Which one would be a hard choice if you farm around several.

Comment on school policy or funding......get on the school board.

Comment on condition of country roads.....get on the township board.

Comment on local County Fair.....get on the Fair Board

Comment on bank policies.....get on the bank board of directors.

Comment on the local fertilizer/pesticide offerings....get on the co-op board.

Comment on the condition of local electrical service.....get on the electric co-op board.

Comment on JD parts & service.....buy some stock & vote.

Comment on conditions at local airport....get on the Airport Authority board.

Comment on local Volunteer FD.....get on the FD board.

Comment on US military foreign excursions....join the Army.

Comment on local FSA policies....get on the local FSA committee

Comment on local conservation situations.....get on the local SWCD board

Comment on local Covid policies....get on the local Co Health Dept Board.

Comment on local political situation.....run for office yourself.

That's only a few I can think of quickly. If one has comments & is thereby encouraged to "get on the board"....these should keep you busy for a week or 2.
Or, is there any other way?
