I would change in anyway to ISOBUS!
Even when your planter tractor does not have ISOBUS DIsplay, you should buy a ISOBUS Display with cables (around 4000 US$) and add a ISOBUS ECU to the planter.
All newer trctors do have ISOBUS ex factory, and so your planter will be allways compatible!
