| Talos Drones is trying to enter the market with a "new" drone called the T60X. It's basically a US assembled DJI T60 drone running a 3rd party software. They are taking preorders for a release in March.
Two things of caution if anyone saw this and was thinking about getting one. It doesn't currently have US approval for use under the 44807 exemption, and if they made the same deal as Anzu Robotics did, it'll get axed right alongside DJI if things go sour.
I trust Talos, so I'd hope that they must have been told they have a green light, but Id be extremely cautious of sending $35k+ to a dealer when it doesn't even have FAA approval in place yet. If for whatever reason it doesn't get approval, it'll make a nice brick in your shelf.
