Google is largely responsible for the development of Chromium and most of the major web browsers are based on it - including Microsoft Edge. Brave is free, and open source.
You can download Chromium and use it today - the user interface feels a lot like Google Chrome, but be aware Chromium does not auto-update like other browsers.
Firefox is the only major Windows/Linux browser not based on Chromium. | |
