North Central Illinois | I'm either in the same county or the next county over. I grow hay for my own livestock and a family member. I'll sell a little occasionally if the price is exceptionally high, but otherwise don't.
Our weather is tough for good quality dry hay consistently.
Usually I inline wrap wet first cutting hay to avoid rained on junk or overly mature course junk due to waiting until mid June to get a dry weather window. Pretty hard to sell silage bales. | |
