My nephew was born at 23 weeks. Sam was an ounce lighter than Claire at birth. Sam is now 30 years old...a little overweight but not too bad, works fulltime at 3M, recently traded vehicles, rents an apartment while saving money so he can put a decent down payment on a house...and enjoys quilting as a hobby. I have no idea why/how Sam took up quilting, but he is getting pretty darn good at quilting and has recently upgraded to a pretty expensive sewing machine.
Claire will "get there," and live a long full life...just like the rest of us hope to do.
