Me thinks the best most efficient hay field is the same as your best corn field, way too many crap fields get relegated to hay and they are still crap
Only way to make money in hay is have a market, best market is one that has low competition and inelastic demand, plus your access to that market is greatly dependent on reputation (yours)
Biting off 200 acres of hay right out of the starting gate is akin to building your own NFL team from scratch. | |
