SW Wisconsin | My land and machinery are paid for and for me hay is a 4 letter word. Each year it seems to get harder to sell. Excellent way to screw up your entire summer fighting the weather. If your not planning on feeding it to your own livestock I would not encourage you to raise hay. Local markets are next to dead, not uncommon to see hay that gets next to nothing for a bid. Stick with row crops and you will better off. | |
