I have caught plenty of abuse . We are never there fast enough, etc .
Normally I’ll say sir there ain’t no need to cuss at me , I’m here on my own time for free .
Oh yeah all that saving the foundation, hose pullers , house destruction experts .
We are very lucky here . All the deputy’s are friends of ours . That’s not to say we don’t rib each other pretty hard . One of them said look the second responders are here .
I said do you want to put this out ? He said I don’t have your gear . Fellow is a friend . I said I have clothes under mine I’ll take it off and give it to you .
He said hell now I’m not a firefighter. Do you want to get shot at ? I said hell no I don’t if they start shooting at me I hope you get them . He said got you covered.
We like them and they like us . Our deal is to say don’t worry it’s not a donut shop on fire .
We do rib each other pretty hard , we quit all that when it gets real . Normally one of the deputy’s will say []{}#%^*+ that was real . I have been told you guys are nuts . I said maybe just so dumb we don’t know better .
