Was talking to son today , he asked me a bunch of questions I could not answer.
He said dad that’s dangerous .
He then said I’ll come there and train you fellows if anyone is interested . He said is your gear there at your home ?
I told him it was . He said at least I’m going to come train my dad so you dont die.
He’s getting ready to at least start figuring out instructor school . He probably needs more time before he can teach .
And yes , son and I are obsessed with fire service.
You need to be trained. Paid firefighters and volunteers are only separated by a paycheck. The fires are just as hot, the accidents are just as bad. It is for the safety of all involved from responders to victims to public. If you're going to do it, do it right. No excuses. |
Well looks like training is coming to voulenteer firehouse .
