| I took straight alfalfa 3rd crop large squares to a hay auction that tested 22% protein and 150 RFV and I threw in free trucking to the highest bidder to try and sweeten the deal. It brought $22.50/bale. I didn't let it sell. I'm better off tossing it in a pile and burning it. It's to the point of "not how I can make the most, but how can I lose the least" type of deal. | |
