Iowa | It's definitely a shock to life as you know it for everyone all involved. There have been lots of improvements over the years in terms of targeting the radiation and chemotherapy. Perhaps a biopsy was taken to study the DNA of the cancer cells and determine the best treatment, or at least the last I understood some research was being done in those regards. Glioblastoma is still very difficult to overcome, but there are a few long term survivors. Research is ongoing to determine why some survive, but I'm afraid only God really knows.
Glioblastoma is a tough diagnosis to be faced with to say the least.
