Back 3-1/2 years ago,
I was picking corn next to a subdivision.
A group of kids were having a party near the field.
They all turned me down except for a 4 year old girl.
Once the girl wanted to go then the older boys wanted to go.
She insisted that she wanted to ride last Fall in soybeans.
I really should try to always harvest that farm on the weekend.
I want to watch the girl grow up.
She was 7 last Fall, probably 8 years old now.
I wonder if my wife will have issues with this arrangement in a few years?
The moral of the story is, find a kid who will go with you.
Soon the others will join in on the trips.
