NW Ohio | I tried a bunch of different options. Ultimately ended up with a CPAP machine. I hate it a lot less than I thought I would, has really helped my sleep.
I did nose strips, which were very ineffective.
Mouth piece, ended up hurting my jaw during the daytime.
As mentioned below, losing weight does wonders. However I would not consider myself fat, 6'2" 225lbs.
Above all, my CPAP lets my wife sleep which in turn lets me sleep. Also, my back and ribs are not nearly as sore anymore ;)
My advice would be to bite the bullet and get a sleep consult. Snoring can be nothing, or it can be signs of a lot more going on. | |
