Cedar Rapids, Iowa | My Internet connection is over a 5.5 mile point-to-point wireless link. A half mile is easy. You want to use Ubiquiti hardware, probably the Litebeam 5AC. You'll need two - one on each end. They get mounted outside and aimed at each other. You will need to configure them to talk to each other, but there are plenty of guides online showing how to do that.
