Imho, if not a tree forest, I would buy this from the OEM: A single Ubiquiti NanoStation M2

And set it up as a AP....with full power output....and with your Smartphone, evaluate on the other side of of these trees. Ideally, a pole with this device could extend above the tree line. Needless to say, this device needs to be pointed at the other place (same elevation???).
