Eastern Nebraska | Do you let is run empty for a bit before you start running grain through it? I've found that we have less issues when we run the leg for 5-10 minutes before running any grain it has rained or if it's been awhile since it has been run. Also once I start running grain at first I run it pretty slow for a few minutes.
Do you have any place that looks like it would be easy for water to run in and then sit in the transition? Maybe a little weather stripping or caulking could make a difference. | |
