One side doesn't have a zerk on the top because if the tractor had been ordered guidance ready that's where the potentiometer would go. That's just the way they are. The other side has one.
As to your wire, looks like it's dangling from the brake fluid reservoir? Assume it has something to do with if the tractor had been ordered with a trailer brake option. Kind of a European thing.
