| If your instrument panel is directly in front of your head, the harness are different and you will need the earlier L100 diagrams. The seat safety system is still check the same way. Also, there are no connectors by the left cab post like the later version. There will be one, but does not keep the instrument panel from coming on.
Preliminary check list. With key off watch the instrument panel as you sit in the seat. The panel should light up and go through a self check and then all lights except for the seat belt and parking brake should go out. Fasten the seat belt and the seat belt light should go out. Only the park brake light will remain on until you start the engine.
