To avoid taking a gauge wheel off the planter to check opener disks, and not finding anything on the market worth buying, came up with the idea for PlanterPerfect tool this past winter to measure remaining life of opener disks, seed tube guards, and firming points.  To bring it to market, we launched a new small business two weeks ago called farm2farm.ag
