SW MN | years ago I replaced my monosem opener disc. I called dealer and ask about the disc and Bearing.. Ingersol disc and name brand bearing.. After one bearing went out in less than 100 aces I ground the rivets off and checked, China Bearing.. I called back Pissed. He asked how I knew? DUH. its printed on the seal... He would do some checking and later he called back and said some were assembled with Chinese bearings. They would replace the failed ones.. WHAT A JOKE.. You spend Hours installing and shimming them correctly...
I now have a bearing supplier parts place. And depending on application I will not purchase a chinese bearing. Wheel bearings in a wagon, fine. Tensioner on my Tractors fan belt.. NO WAY.. | |
