Northeast Missouri | A drill is not a bad idea, drilled at an angle to the oat rows. Small seed box drop tubes are ahead of the double disk openers, but the openers and press wheels ought to make just enough soil disturbance to cover some of the seed.

I don't think I can run my hoe slow enough to not throw dirt. The spoons are *very* sharp and go into the ground easily, even with all the weights removed. (This is a Hiniker hoe, which lets you add/remove concrete weights to/from the inside of the toolbar...from my experience it is the Cadillac of rotary hoes.)
