Subject: Totally tubular starter fert tubes?

My local dealer is now selling these tubes. Looks like a great idea; putting starter fert under the seed rather than on top of it like we are currently doing with seed firmers. The only question i have for those of you who are using them is will they work with seed firmers? i think that if the firmer is sliding through the seed trench where there is wet fertilizer laying it'll cake up on the firmer. You can see these tubes at www.totally-tubular.net
