WC MO | So a judge told them to play nice together, like a Daddy telling two boys to share their toys in the sandbox. I just don't see where they have really solved their differences and this story ain't over.
I have to applaud Ford- over the past couple years they did the warranty work that their customers needed (despite the fact that apparently International was not helping cover the costs), they had enough faith in International to make a new generation engine to meet their customer's needs, hopefully with fewer warranty claims (they could have walked, unless contractually bound) and as far as International is concerned, they delivered engines to Ford in spite of not getting paid for them (at least for a little while, according to the article).
Like two brothers, I would say they need each other, but they are playing a high stakes version of head butting. | |
