Wardsville, Ontario, Canada | I've got a New Idea air planter. What I do is this. Use the large seed plate and turn your air pressure back to 2 or less. I only plant an acre or two. I usually put the seed in the bottom and stuff a rag on top to keep the seed from blowing up and into the box. If you are planting more than that, you won't need the rag until you get to the bottom. Field corn seed is heavier so I don't have that problem even at high pressure. The sweet corn seed is such an odd shape, that is the reason for the large seed plate.
