Tillsonburg, Ontario, Canada | The 2007 looks like the best deal, although there could be a couple issues.
1. The engine-I think all the 2007 machine have tier 3, but do the 2006 machines also have tier 3? If they don't, I would go with the 2006 to stay away from the associated problems that the new engines have with fuel usage and other issues that I have heard about.
2.Break in- I'm not at all sure what exactly would be involved in 'breaking in' a combine vs any other new machine. But if this could pose a problem, I would go again with the 2006. 200 more hours could be better than having to break in the combine yourself. Besides, 200 hours, assuming no hard operation or abuse, isn't all that much considering the expected life of the machine.
But, if your not really concerned about this, then I would buy the 2007. |
