| Boog, do you add Seafoam to the oil or to the fuel? I see no point in adding Seafoam to oil, if it's good oil in the first place and changed when it should be. If you had a sludged up engine on something that hadn't been cared for like it should be, then I could see adding Seafoam to the oil to clean it out. OTOH, maybe Seafoam would clean it out too well and it would be better to just change oil and filter more often until sludge is gone. I'd be leery of cutting a whole bunch of stuff loose at one time inside a motor and having it plug oil passages. Seafoam is a darn good cleaner, but I only use it as a fuel system cleaner/fuel preservative. | |
