Subject: 7/8" Drillshalf on 7000

Dallas Center IA 515-720-2463
Yes you can use 7/8" drillshalf on 7000 units just fine.
I have 7/8" on my 15 row 16" soybean planter made out of a 7000 12 row.

On my planter I used Kinze unit bearing with the 19 tooth sprocket. The Deere 7200 ones I looked at seemed like they put the sprocket way to far to the right.

However I later learned that I was looking at unit bearings for 7200 VacuMeter planters.
The unit bearing for 7200 finger pickup units have the same sprocket offset as the 7000.

The Kinze part number is GA2180.
Don't know the Deere part number.
