Southeast Iowa | OK... here is a GREAT sewing idea, and a money maker besides...... The NEW JOHN DEERE TRACTORS have a diesel fuel cap that is about 4-1/2" in diameter....more or less... and which has a "flip-up" lever on top to unseal it. HOWEVER.... it is just about IM-possible to unseal and remove the cap without a bunch of DIRT falling into the fuel tank; even when you clean it as good as possible with a rag. What is needed is a thing like a shower cap that has a drawstring to COVER the fuel tank lid while the tracror is in use; to keep the dirt off of it entirely. The cover should hang down about 3" all the way around and have one of those little drawstring thingy's like some hoodies use to keep the string tight. Make them of some kind of SLICK material so they shed dust as good as possible and make them BLACK or maybe John Deere green. I need two of them right away, and could sell several more if I had them. If you need a precise measurement on that cap; let me know. E-mail is [email protected] | |
