We've tried after-market tint films...put on professionally also-but I've never been happy w/end results. Yes, they do tint & darken. Work well on bright day....OUTDOORS. But, backing a tinted tractor into a dark shed can be a problem....for me anyway. I don't wear glasses, but I just can't see thru tint in dark shed. Same at night...really cuts down visibility @ night.

I'd probably go look for a good pair of sunglasses. Not trying to be smart, but that would be better for me than tint-film.
