Subject: Re: value of excavator

Gresham, Nebraska
We bought a CAT 225B LC several years ago to clean out water re-use pits (for irrigation). The plan was to get our work done and sell the unit. Well we've still got it and the darn thing has paid for itself several times over - removal of 3 large building sites, more trees than I care to admit, trenching work for sub-surface drip irrigation installs, we are putting together a used pivot with it now (as a "knuckle boom"). I didn't answer your question about value, but ours has been "priceless" for being able to get work done when it needs to be done.
