I agree with braunt01 about the sealer, depending on the type it can be bad news for recovery equipment and your AC system.
I have had good luck with the refrigerant with hose /seal/ O ring CONDITIONER in it . It has slowed or stopped leaks in converted R12 to R134a systems with old R12 hoses, and many used O rings and seals in the system. The conditioner softens and swells the old rubber parts to slow/ stop nuisance leaks without filling the system with stop leak gunk.
