| We learned that lesson too. Our tree was huge and solid red when it was time to pick. On July about 6 years ago storms blew through and took it out. I never cried over anything having to do with weather, but I did that day. It used to yield beauties - I'd can 15 quarts, make jam, eat the rest. Now we're waiting on a baby tree and it's taking forever to start yielding fruit. | |
