I hear ya - Fake maple syrup has been on the shelves for over 10yrs now. Kind of came in when the soda industry stoped useing cane sugar . . .

I too got my hands on some real maple syrup and will not go back to that high fruitose crap . ..  If you take a trip up north or just across the boarder into Wisc, you can get it in the gift shop types or do a search and google can give you several places to buy on line. One I "think" I recall is the SugarShack, Might be hardwick sugar shack or sugar loaf ? something like that. Some specialties grocies stores would have it also . . . .
