SW Saskatchewan | On single lane highways I have a real bitch about highway trucks that can do 50 mph up a hill then 85 down the other side.
And that travel in convoys so that there is no hope of faster traffic passing.
Before Canada 1 was twinned through western Sask we had a real death valley, when the winds got bad the truckers would convoy up and travel nose to bumper to counter the wind. Eventually someone would lose their cool and attempt to pass only to discover they were passing a quarter mile long string of trucks with no way to pull back in. The impatient driver lost more than his cool, innocent oncoming traffic were losers but the big wheels kept on rolling.
Then to see a sticker on the back of the truck proudly professing to only drive 90k(55) to "save fuel".
God, I feel a Rich sized rage coming on! | |
