Seneca Kansas 66538 | In NEKS, an adjuster and I looked a couple fields of wheat and as driving up to the field he had commented that it doesnt look so bad from the road. As we got out into the field and started checking app ox 80% of plants are kinked under the second node and will have severe to permanent damage. I have a feeling as they start to assess the wheat crop in this area the damage is going to get alot higher than 46%. This week the market should start reflecting it more. Will be cancelling another 3000 bushel contract on monday which is the second contract thrown out the window for us. | |
