Depends if there are any overhead lines around. If not, usually stays out cuz in real good corn, your dumping more often than not so it really doesnt pay to fold everytime. The folding mechanism on the Avalanche/Unverferth is very stout and doesnt bounce around a bit even on rough pivot tracks. The one on the combine always comes in.
