We have always left the augers out on the combine and the grain cart. So far no problems, auger on cart is showing signs of to much bouncing around and crinkled the tube a little. Bought a new cart last winter and emailed J&M and they said fold it in everytime. Will try to do as they say and go with the majority and start folding them in.
