| Certainly...it's a two way street...If it goes in your favor your get paid...if it goes against you...payment must be made to the grain company. I'm sure that the grain company did NOT let the 200,000 Bu customer just walk away from the contacts. The averaging of the several contacts MAY have put it (the average) right at the 'break even' to get out without any payment?
Failure to deliver on contracts is not uncommon BUT said contracts must be filled in some fashion. That's what makes the market work. | |
