South central, Nebraska | Your strip-till unit looks like it is progressing along in development but we get too much erosion here to leave fluffy strips like that. We would end up with a trench either from wind or a gully washer or both.
I am interested in the 3004 w/zipper for applying nh3 and liquid on the side of ridge-till and in no-till. I want to get all my fertilizer down in one pass early preplant (February, March) with very minimal disturbance.
Are you doing any more work with this combination unit?
Is it ready for the field now?
Do you think it will track the sides of ridges to place fertilizer 6" to 8" off center?
Can it be set up to apply gas and liquid at the same time?
